Breakfast is located in the centre of Colyford, a perfect start to many good
days out. We are only 2km from the coast. Seaton, our nearest
coastal town, is located on the newly award World Jurassic Heritage Coast.

Jurassic Coast website: "The Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage
Site is England's first natural World Heritage Site - it is known as The
Jurassic Coast. It covers 95 miles of truly stunning coastline from East Devon
to Dorset, with rocks recording 185 million years of the Earth's history.
We are only 25 miles from the Cathedral
town of Exeter, and only 35 miles from Dartmoor National Park.
Seven miles to the east is is the historic town of Lyme Regis, with its
old harbour (The Cobb) and sandy beach. Seven miles to the west is
the beautiful Victorian town of Sidmouth. We are also
only 2 miles from the beaches of Seaton and the pretty fishing village of Beer
(see picture above).
We are located only 500m from the Colyford
Terminus of the Seaton to Colyton Tramway. The 3 mile route from Seaton to
Colyton, following an old train path. The journey takes about 25 minutes,
and follows the Axe Estuary and valley.
Only 3 miles away is The Donkey
Sanctuary, home to over 400 rescued donkeys with an information centre,
restaurant and picnic area. It has five beautiful walks in serene and relaxing
surroundings. Open 365 days of the year from dawn to dusk.
Pecorama, is situated on the
hillside above the picturesque fishing village of Beer (only 2 miles away).
This attraction has something to offer every member of the family, including a
fascinating Model Railway Exhibition. Picturesque gardens are also home to the
famous Beer Heights Light Railway , giving wonderful views of Beer and
Lyme Bay .
